The Witcher 3 se retrasa hasta febrero del 2015

Os lo juro, no entiendo a la peña de por aquí, no la entiendo. Después nos quejamos de lo que ha hecho EA con Battlefield 4, por ejemplo, pero cuando una compañía decide retrasar su juego para pulirlo, haya que van a criticarlo.

Solo puedo decir que: sabia decisión. A esto les gusta a ellos lo mismo que a nosotros, así que si han decidido retrasarlo, es por una buena razón. Anda que joder, como si no fueran a salir muchos más juegazos next-gen este año.

Ultimately, you, the players, must get an unforgettable adventure to experience in a vast, open world – and that’s most important. We’ve created a story that flows naturally, cinematically, rendered it in amazing sound and visuals, while preserving full freedom of choice – all for you. We knew this to be an ambitious plan, but believed we could achieve it by bringing together our team with its creative energies and current gaming platforms with their technical capabilities. We recently reexamined what we had achieved thus far, and faced a choice about the game’s final release date. The decision we made was difficult, thoroughly considered, and ultimately clear and obvious. We could have released the game towards the end of this year as we had initially planned. Yet we concluded that a few additional months will let us achieve the quality that will satisfy us, the quality gamers expect from us. Consequently, we have set the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for February 2015.

Dear gamers - we know many of you would have liked to play The Witcher 3 sooner, as soon as possible, even. We’re sorry to make you wait longer than you, or we, initially assumed you would. At the same time, we believe the game will prove to be worth the wait and meet the expectations you have of us. We believe The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be an exceptional RPG, one of the best, providing many hours of wonderful entertainment.

Dear shareholders – we are aware of the responsibility that rests with us and thank you for the trust you have granted us thus far. We firmly believe that quality – more than any other factor – determines a game’s success, and that the decision we have made is thus equally valid in business terms.

Es una carta abierta a todos nosotros. El nivel de RESPETO, de SINCERIDAD y de COHERENCIA que veo en esta carta no lo eh visto en toda mi vida, no en el mundo gamer y como fan de kojima todo lo contrario a lo que dice el y hace el con nosotros.

Dos puntos a destacar para todos los pesimistas y catastroficos: Primero "falta un año". Si falta un año, cuanto faltaba antes del retraso? 10 meses. Segundo, se ah retrasado! Si, 2 meses.

Son dos malditos meses, con el objetivo de hacer algo MEMORABLE. 

Si leen bien TODA la carta, los que puedan en ingles, estos muchachos quieren hacer historia, quieren hacer algo memorable que cambie el genero y los juegos, quieren hacer la obra cumbre de sus vidas. 

La sensación que tengo con los productores de CD Projekt es igual o similar a la que tengo en el cine con Christopher Nolan (Batman: The Dark Knight, Inception). Hay gente que, si, gana mucho dinero, y forma parte de empresas y corporaciones enormes, no es el caso de CD Projekt aun, son un estudio PEQUEÑO, pero son personas que buscan hacer cosas de calidad y no solo de buena calidad si no que trasciendan y sean recordadas en la historia, no se si es por ideología o que, pero hay que agradecer esto. Para mi los productores de CD PRojekt son algo nuevo y especial, por que son un gran equipo, no en cantidad, en calidad y son para mi los nuevos grandes productores de la nueva generación.

Pues una de las consecuencias de esta decisión de CD Projekt Red es que, lógicamente, también se retrasa en el tiempo la salida de [b]Cyberpunk 2077[/b], al cual espero incluso con más ganas que a este The Witcher 3.

El hombre que le escupio en la cara al personaje de batman y algunos de sus enemigos creando una serie "realista" y muy poco batman porque le parecia imposible poder hacer una pelicula buena y coherente del mundo del comic teniendo respeto por el mismo?

Opino exactamente lo mismo que los retrasos de WD. Me parece una buena idea. Un ejercicio de responsabilidad con los jugadores. Prefiero esperar y que el juego venga  funcional y libre de bugs.

Da gusto ver que bien ha recibido la gente esta noticia.
Llega a ser otra compañía y le llueven palos por todos  lados, CD Projekt ha sabido ganarse a la gente, y eso se nota en noticias como esta.
Que aprendan otras compañías, que quien siembra vientos recoge tempestades.

Ya me extrañaba a mi que no soltaran información desde hace meses, ni capturas de pantalla ni ningún video. Todo apuntaba a un retraso.

No me parece mal. Que se tomen el tiempo que necesiten con tal de que nos llegue lo más pulido posible y con mayor cantidad de contenidos. Es el cierre de la trilogía de Geralt, y los de CD Projekt RED (a diferencia de Bioware con su Mass Effect 3 y su final hecho con prisas) no están sometidos a terceras entidades para sacar sus juegos en un límite de tiempo prefijado. 

Si han tomado esta decisión será para bien.

Este es el post en el que he visto a más gente precipitada en toda mi vida. Ahí los tienes, comprando PS4 con demasiada antelación, renovando PCs... 
Caray.
